Hi, I’m Sara. I create thoughtful experiences that bring people and products together. Currently, I’m at Condé Nast designing digital products, interactive websites, and the app for The New Yorker, Wired and others.
To better showcase The New Yorker’ fiction cotent, I redesigned the Fiction section on the homepage to feel distinct, guiding readers to discover their next great read and explore related content.

For The New Yorker’s special annual Cartoons & Puzzles issue, we teamed up with the editorial, art, and interactives teams to transform the magazine into a dynamic, playable experience. I developed a landing page concept inspired by classic board games like Parcheesi, then collaborated closely with Meredith Hattam to bring each feature to life and reflect the fun, vibrant aesthetic of the print cover.

Awards
The Cartoons & Puzzles digital issue won the D&AD Wood Pencil and the SPD Gold Medal awards.
The New Yorker is unlike any other magazine on the newsstand. It’s a publication of wit, with the power to surprise, delight, and inform. In 2023, we launched a redesigned homepage that reflects the magazine’s distinct identity, driven by clarity and elegance.

We designed a dedicated tab to showcase crosswords, cartoons, puzzles, games, and more, helping first-time visitors explore and giving regular players a faster, more predictable way to dive in.

I collaborated with Base Design on the new website for Murray’s Cheese, focusing on creating a seamless, crave-worthy e-commerce journey that captures the charm of visiting a neighborhood cheese shop. My role centered on shaping the user experience and information architecture to bring that vision to life. The online shop was designed to act as a helpful guide, with features tailored to support both loyal customers and those discovering Murray’s for the first time.
