Hi, I’m Sara. I create thoughtful experiences that bring people and products together. My work spans digital products, interactive websites, brand identities, and print publications. Currently, I’m a Senior Product Designer at The New Yorker.
The New Yorker offers a rich collection of fiction, including author interviews, reviews, and podcasts. I redesigned the Fiction section on the homepage to distinguish it from the rest of the content, making it easier for users to recognize, navigate, and discover their next great read while exploring authors and related content.

For The New Yorker’s special annual Cartoons & Puzzles issue, we teamed up with the editorial, art, and interactives teams to transform the magazine into a dynamic, playable experience. I developed a landing page concept inspired by classic board games like Parcheesi to bring each feature to life and reflecting the fun, vibrant aesthetic of the print cover.

The Cartoons & Puzzles digital issue won the D&AD Wood Pencil and the SPD Gold Medal awards.
The New Yorker is unlike any other magazine on the newsstand. It’s a publication of wit, with the power to surprise, delight, and inform. In 2023, we redesigned it’s homepage to reflect the magazine’s distinct identity, driven by clarity and elegance.

I collaborated with Base Design on the new website for Murray’s Cheese, focusing on creating a seamless, crave worthy e-commerce journey that captures the charm of visiting a neighborhood cheese shop. My role centered on shaping the user experience and information architecture to bring that vision to life. The online shop was designed to act as a helpful guide, with features tailored to support both loyal customers and those discovering Murray’s for the first time.
